After a month of player testing and feedback, we’ve made comprehensive updates and optimizations to Wheel Duck. This article records the updates for Wheel Duck. Optimizations

Control Optimization: Many players mentioned that the original controls didn’t feel intuitive. To address this, we’ve adjusted the wheelchair mechanics. Previously, both wheels had to be moved simultaneously to rotate, but now, single-wheel movement allows rotation at normal speed, while moving both wheels simultaneously rotates at double speed, making the controls more flexible and responsive. We’ve also added gamepad support, enhancing the overall control experience!
Leaf Mechanic: To increase the game’s challenge and unpredictability, we’ve introduced a new Leaf Mechanic. Players are no longer confined to the center of the island to compete for high scores. By collecting leaves, players can earn higher scores, but they will also face increased control difficulty, truly testing their control skills.
Art Optimization: Based on player feedback, we’ve upgraded the art assets to address issues such as unclear feedback on current controls, wind direction, collision states, and death states. Now, the visual feedback is more intuitive and clearer, allowing players to grasp the situation easily even in the heat of the game.
Leaderboard Upgrade: We’ve upgraded the local leaderboard to an online leaderboard. Now, if you make it to the top 10, your score will be visible to players worldwide. Come and take on the challenge—let’s see who can top the leaderboard!
